Dear Editor:
How heartwarming it was to head back to my car after doing some grocery shopping in Parkgate Village (on Dec. 12) only to discover that during my absence someone had been busy hanging candy canes on the driver’s side door of many of the vehicles in the rows around me, including mine!
After having just experienced the mad, frenzied energy of stressed-out and therefore speeding drivers on Lonsdale and ridiculous traffic jams caused by impatience in other parking lots, this happy and kind gesture was so welcome. Whomever you are, you brought the spirit of the season right back into focus and it will ripple far and wide. You made my day!
