Dear Editor:
I would like to commend (reporter Brent) Richter on his balanced Oct. 19 article regarding North Shore traffic that described the obstacles and opportunities. Clearly more infrastructure is needed, including improved transit service, and this will only be achieved through maximizing provincial and federal contributions. It is fundamental that we elect councils on the North Shore that can effectively collaborate with Metro Vancouver and TransLink in pursuit of these important projects and services.
