Dear Editor:
I received a card in the mail last week asking for money in order to buy new equipment for our local hospital.
Why our provincial government doesn’t automatically purchase that on our behalf has always surprised me.
That being said, I would be more inclined to contribute to the above request, if I was assured that some of the money would be used to improve the quality of the food served to the patients.
Surely, enjoying a meal would be a great boost to the morale and consequent healing process, for all concerned?
