Biking to work is great. I do it once a week from upper Lynn Valley to Burnaby.
Some do it daily year-round, which is amazing. It could be much better though.
The access east-west to the Ironworkers is awful. Prior to the bike lane upgrade some years ago, the four and a half foot lanes were divided for going both ways. Now with nine-foot-wide lanes you are required to go with the flow, which makes route access awkward.
There is one aggressive biker who yells at you if you are going the wrong way on the now non-divided bike lanes. I don’t do that now, just grind up under the bridge.
Biking to work is great, but please - make it easier. Add a walkway or paint a line to divide the lanes to allow two-way traffic on both sides. It would help a lot as there is no easy access to either side.
