Dear Editor:
At last and not a moment too soon the federal election is finally over and no matter how we voted or how we feel about the outcome, the results are just a matter of time.
Now it is time to relax and look around at the wonders of the world, or at least the wonders of the gardeners employed by the District of North Vancouver.
As a person who takes the bus, I get the privilege of admiring the ride and have noticed some fun things those gardeners have done, particularly on Lynn Valley Road and Delbrook Avenue.
I still have not figured if those marvellous green sculptures are happy caterpillars or some other kind of creature but they make me smile every time I see them.
Thank-you so much to those creative hands — life can be very stressful and you at least are giving a lot of pleasure to those of us who notice your inventive work. Please keep it up.
