Dear Editor:
We are four women who celebrate each others’ birthdays with a lunch, every year.
This year was very special because we celebrated our most senior member’s 90+ birthday at a North Vancouver restaurant. Much to our surprise when we waited for our bill the server told us that a young woman had paid. This wonderful act of kindness only added to our thanks that there are still such nice people in our world.
Whoever you are, please accept a huge thank-you for making a special day even more special. Now it’s up to us to pay it forward.
