Re: 2015 Shaping Up to be the Summer of Noise, July 19, Other Voices.
I totally agree with the author of this letter. Each day, I am assaulted about 50 times per hour by idiots with locking devices beeping to lock their car doors.
Beep, beep, beep, beep. It’s endless! It never stops, day and night. I’m almost tearing my hair out.
Then there are idiot parents, who have no respect for society, with their screaming bratty kids who they don’t parent.
Then there are the lawn mowers and leaf blowers — even on Sunday in North Vancouver.
Trying to enjoy just 15 minutes of peace and quiet is useless. There is none to be had in the City of North Vancouver. Fifteen minutes of silence. Is that too much to ask?
