Kudos on (publisher Peter Kvarnstrom’s) column in last Sunday’s edition.
I am a long-term resident of North and now West Vancouver who cares deeply about my community and the invaluable role that your publication and journalists play in keeping us informed and connected. I read every edition for community news – how else would I know what is going on locally? – and value your efforts in maintaining democracy and a civil society. I trust community papers and websites. Google and Facebook, not so much.
Thank you for taking your compelling arguments to Ottawa.
