Dear Editor:
If the Green Party is serious about making a breakthrough in Canadian politics, it needs to come up with a better statement than that recently given by Claire Martin.
The former CBC meteorologist said that she is running for a North Shore riding because, “People are tired of old politics. People don’t like politicians. I want to change that.”
Is there any chance that we could hear something slightly more original?
I have heard this tired campaign rhetoric my entire life.
