Dear Editor:
I wanted to thank you for your Aug. 17 editorial regarding the Vancouver Aquarium. I will use it to enlighten my children and my future grandchildren, for it is the clearest example of doublethink since the Richmond, Virginia area school board attempted to ban Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird as "immoral literature." Indeed you have doubled down (so to speak) on the Vancouver Park Board's doublethinking that we should coin a new term - quadruplethink. Orwell would be proud.
