Dear Editor:
I find it fascinating that we have two North Vancouver municipal governments and all the related duplicated services and TransLink cannot find enough space for a suitable bus depot that can handle the future needs of the North Shore.
It’s a clear call that amalgamation needs to proceed and then we can level one of our redundant city hall buildings and free up space for a new depot. If we want to be really efficient we should expedite this now and tie in a New Year’s Eve fireworks show with the demolition at 14th and Lonsdale (city hall).
