Dear Editor:
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all of the kind-hearted people who secured our dog’s safety on Friday, Dec. 11 after she bolted from the dog walk beside PetSmart on Main Street (north of Harbourview Park) and ran panic-stricken into a busy traffic area.
Several bystanders joined in a group effort to try to slow, calm and finally hold onto our beloved family dog, Alice. She is such a vital part of our family and we are so touched by the compassion and caring of our wonderful North Shore community.
Thank-you to all who were part of this lovely act.
