Dear Editor:
Re. West Van Says Stairs Must Go, Feb. 5. The serfs could not hunt on the king's land and serfs cannot build stairs unless the king says OK. Who do these tinpot "leaders" think they are? My goodness, they run the North Shore municipalities for their benefit and the unions' benefit. Who stands up for the people? I'll tell you who: nobody! Especially this dopey newspaper.
Coun. Michael Lewis was right when he said, "You cannot pick up a hammer without one of your neighbours ratting you out." We have become a nation of snitches and whiners.
