North Vancouver - Dear Editor: A few months ago I was ticketed by the RCMP for a driving infraction. Ever since, I have been regretting words left unsaid. Here is what I wish I had told the officer who pulled me over. Every week I put about 20 kilometres on my car, and about 200 km on my bicycle. So to me, the rules of the road are literally a matter of life and death. I'm embarrassed to deserve this ticket, but mostly I'm grateful for the watchful eye and the firm hand that keep all of us safe on the roads. Thank you.Philip LoewenNorth Vancouver
