Dear Editor:
Regarding your Sept. 16 story, Aiston's Oasis, I just wanted to say that I have been riding my bicycle along the pathway by Klahanie Park every workday for some years now and have been watching the garden grow. I knew when I first noticed its small beginnings that it was a "labour of love" and not a municipal creation (I think technically the area is inside West Vancouver). It is quite beautiful, and huge credit is due to the man who is creating it.
I just hope that now that the "secret's out," he's left alone to continue what is truly a work of art.
