Kids casualties of job action

Dear Editor:

I have two children attending elementary school in North Vancouver. I find it appalling that we are two months into the school year, and nothing has been done about the job-action strike the teachers are on. I feel we, as a province, need to put more of a focus on public education. I am really not happy with how things are going and I hope you will all do your best to turn this around. Our children need an education without limits. They need to have report cards. We need to be able to meet with their teachers. These are very basic things that all citizens should have access to. This job action or whatever it is has gone on long enough. Please make this a priority, for our children's future.
