INQUIRING REPORTER: Are you prepared for an emergency?

If disaster struck tomorrow, would you be ready for it? That thought might have entered the minds of many British Columbians earlier this week after a magnitude 7.9 earthquake was detected off Alaska, prompting a tsunami warning for coastal B.C. The resulting alerts provided ample opportunity for people to weigh their own levels of emergency preparedness, such as knowing the hazards, building an emergency kit, creating a household emergency plan, and more. How emergency prepared are you?
