Earth Hour is an annual event held towards the end of March where an hour out of the evening is dedicated to switching off the lights at home or work.
The event was first initiated in 2007 as a lights-out event in Sydney, Australia. It’s organized by World Wildlife Fund and has since been incorporated in more than 185 countries around the world in an effort to inspire organizations and individuals to make a change for the environment.
This year, it takes place on Saturday, March 30 at 8:30 p.m. Will you get involved this year?
