INQUIRING REPORTER: Should Vancouver still host its 4/20 protest?

Vancouver’s annual 4/20 protest celebrates its 25th birthday this Saturday at Sunset Beach.

Event organizers anticipate that attendance this year will exceed 100,000 people over the course of the day.

It’s also the first year that cannabis connoisseurs will be able to demonstrate their support without breaking the law. With recreational cannabis now legal in Canada, critics suggest that the event has gone from a protest to just a party.

With that in mind, we asked: Should Vancouver continue to host the annual festival?
