As summer rolls on, Vancouver Coastal Health has issued warnings about swimming at certain Metro Vancouver beaches after they recorded high E. coli counts, which could leave water waders with gastrointestinal illnesses as well as skin and eye infections.
Ambleside Beach in West Vancouver had a warning in effect last week that has since been lifted. It got us thinking: How much do people actually use our beaches for swimming anyway?
