INQUIRING REPORTER: How do you manage your mental health?

It was World Mental Health Day earlier this week, a day meant to spread awareness by increasing knowledge and understanding of the causes, nature, impact, prevention and management of mental health issues.

Recent research shows that nearly everyone will develop a psychological disorder of some kind at some point in their life. For most people, the effects are temporary.

But the truth is, self care is essential. The Inquiring Reporter ventured around the North Shore to ask the public about how they try to keep on top of their mental health.
