INQUIRING REPORTER: Has your SeaBus commute been affected by the transit strike?

The transit strike has resulted in some SeaBus sailing cancellations, though only some riders can attest to noticing any difference when it comes to their daily commutes.

On Thursday, TransLink announced that 16 sailings would be cancelled, including two sailings from Lonsdale Quay at 7:20 a.m. and 9 a.m. and more starting after 4 p.m.

The job action was launched Nov. 1 with Unifor members demanding improved wages, benefits and working conditions.

The union has warned that further action, such as bus cancellations, could be next.
