The B.C. Teachers' Federation voted April 19 in favour of refusing any extra-curricular work, which will affect sports, graduation ceremonies, some drama and other activities.

The B.C. Teachers' Federation voted April 19 in favour of refusing any extra-curricular work, which will affect sports, graduation ceremonies, some drama and other activities. The union president said it was a "wrenching" decision for many teachers committed to their students' teams, but the only way to protest the provincial government's use of legislation to halt contract negotiations.
