With district mayor Richard Walton joining city mayor Darrell Mussatto on the list of mayors not seeking re-election, leadership is set to change in North Vancouver.
Walton’s decision not to run will end his reign as the longest serving mayor in the history of the district, while Mussatto is stepping down from his four-term incumbency.
This week, we hit the streets to ask residents whether or not the recent news of both North Vancouver mayors not seeking re-election would prompt them to participate in the next municipal election Oct. 20?
