Dear Editor:
As someone who uses many of the trails and parks in North Vancouver, it is with great annoyance and disappointment I write this letter.
It seems dog owners of the North Shore do not see it as their responsibility to properly dispose of their dogs' waste.
Apparently, the acceptable practice is to leave the bag of excrement on the side of the trail for someone else to pick up. And before any reader pipes up to say they return to pick the bags up later, I call B.S. I run, walk and bike many of the trails and daily see two or three bags left, either from that day or previous days.
If dog owners are not responsible enough to dispose of their dog's waste, they should not be dog owners.
