Dear Editor:
If the dog featured in your recent front-page story (Dog's Poisoning Sparks Warning, Aug. 26, North Shore News) ingested antifreeze in a parking lot or on a street where antifreeze is found, and if the incident occurred when the owner was not paying attention, it seems obvious that this event could have been avoided if the dog owner had kept the dog on a leash as required by law until it reached the off-leash area in Princess Park.
Ban anti-freeze?
Banning law-breaking dog owners would be more effective.
