With the threat of global warming on many people’s minds in recent years, governments have been looking at ways to reduce fossil fuel consumption.
Whether it be bolstering public transit or increasing walking and cycling, many ideas have been suggested on how to lessen society’s consumption of emission-producing fuels.
Now the City of North Vancouver is starting to explore the idea of putting environmental warnings on gas pumps, depicting the effects fossil fuel consumption is having on the planet.
