Dear Editor: I was surprised to read that such measly fines were given to the driver who was responsible for closing down the Lions Gate Bridge.
These were for being distracted and using his smartphone while driving.
Has anyone ever thought of giving him a punishment that adequately reflects causing a head-on collision? Not to mention the inconvenience to thousands of other people too.
