Dear Editor:
It is with pride and joy that I read James Weldon's Oct. 7 story, NVSD Apologizes for Yearbook Slur, in regards to Robin Tomlin and his experience with bullying and finally getting some form of redress from the North Vancouver school board, even if it is tempered by the fact that none of his tormentors have stepped to the front of the line to apologize for their conduct and behaviour.
Most, if not all of these persons are alive to this date. The cowardly nature of the bullies is noted by their lack of presence and action to redress a wrong done long ago, with forethought and malice.
I have great respect for the dignity of Mr. Tomlin. Joseph Julien Levesque Vancouver
