Dear Editor:
Regular Facebook users will know that the Christy Clark government is flooding the social networking site with ads promoting various planks in the Liberal platform. More accurately, B.C. government ministries are spamming Facebook on an hourly basis.
Ordinarily I'd suggest that once again government should be prevented from buying obviously partisan advertising in the run-up to an election.
In this case I'll just chuckle, as every one of these "sponsored posts" is immediately followed by hundreds of highly negative comments from Facebook users who also find them annoying and intrusive.
Quite the example of shooting yourself in the foot, 21st century style.
