Dear Editor:
When the Concerned Citizens for B.C. site was first posted, I was pleased to see that there would be a somewhat balanced presentation of the Liberal and NDP parties. The second paragraph in Jim Shepard's "Dear Friend" letter stated: "This is not about Christy Clark or Adrian Dix as people. I respect both of their commitments to public service." He also stated that "Concerned Citizens wants to make their differences known so that you, the voter, can decide."
When I revisited the site several days ago, I was surprised to see that the second paragraph had been removed in its entirety. The recent personal radio and TV attacks on Adrian Dix and the lack of any comments by CC4BC regarding the premier's performance, lead one to believe that there has been an abrupt change of intent on behalf of CC4BC and also leads one to wonder why and by whom the change was made as well as who is paying for the very expensive ads. It also leads one to question why the voter, the "Dear Friend" of Jim Shepard's letter, is to be deprived of being presented with "the differences known so that you, the voter can decide" - a statement which was part of the original intent letter.
I am concerned that an organization can make such an about turn of face without some justification or explanation.
