Dear Editor:
Attention, dog owners!
This evening, while driving home down my street in North Vancouver, I came across a very upsetting scene. A neighbourhood dog had been hit by a car. This dog, I found out, was a senior at 14 years old. I regularly saw her out and about on the street on her own, even at night.
Please, please, please if you love your dog, don't let your dog out to take themselves for a walk.
Think about this: Would you let your two year old child play in the street at night by themselves? I don't think this had a happy ending.
