A memorable performance

Dear Editor:

My wife is very big on music. So much so that she was the provincial music adviser for the B.C. Girl Guides for some 10 years. She also loves symphony music and regularly signs up for season tickets and regularly attends with a musical friend.

This particular time it was the last big performance of the year and she persuaded me to go with her.

It was a very formal affair with most ladies in beautiful long dresses and many men in tuxes.

At the intermission, there was a massive run on the bathrooms. As I walked past the ladies there was some 1012 ladies patiently lined up at the door waiting to get in. The men's was busy but there was no lineup.

As I was walking through the men's door, a lady brushed past me, muttering that she just had to go to the bathroom in a hurry.

She went directly into one of the vacant stalls and closed the door.

When she came out she just went and casually washed and dried her hands and then smiling happily and beautifully just walked out of the men's bathroom.
