What higher education qualifications do you hold? Business & Marketing; continuing education in areas of interest.
What PAC experience have you had? I am a NVPAC Past President and served on school PACs. I meet regularly with parents, PAC representatives and attend DPAC meetings in my role as Trustee. This helps me stay current with PAC issues.

How many board meetings did you attend in person in the last year? All but two.
What is the single biggest challenge facing the school district and how will you achieve a solution? Responding to the rapidly changing educational needs of our students is critical. Students are experiencing increasingly diverse issues. Our district needs to continue to focus on providing teachers and staff with the skills and resources they require to fully engage with all students. Training is key to meeting this challenge.
What are your thoughts on the province’s new curriculum? I love it. It provides educators more options to inspire a child's passion to learn, and to reach every student in a more inclusive way.
Why do we need a school board when so much is dictated by the province? Trustees ensure the voices and needs of our community are heard. Engaging directly with our students, families, teachers, and staff is how meaningful change happens.
