Do you live in the city? Yes

For how long have you lived in the city? 40 Years

Incumbent: Years on council? 0

Non-incumbents: List municipal committee and/or civic group experience:
(2008 to 2014) City`s Social Planning Advisory Committee
(2016- Present) Treasurer, Friends Society Board of Directors, North Vancouver Museum and Archives

What are your priorities if elected? Easing traffic congestion
Improving Transit including a fixed link to SkyTrain
Protecting rental housing with new zoning
Increasing affordable rentals
Density as per the OCP

Is the city managing growth appropriately? Successful cities with high density work when balanced with rapid transit. We are building density without the rapid transit. Density Bonusing is the new normal and should be the exception. No attention is given to accumulative parking demands or traffic congestion, as a result business and residents suffer the consequences.

Are you open to amalgamating with the District of North Vancouver? Yes, but until there is a full financial analysis on cost vs. savings no one can state unequivocally there is a financial benefit for amalgamation.

Should the city facilitate affordable housing and if so, how? We need a mix of housing options. The city can implement new zoning for rental only and encourage affordable housing by reducing development costs.
