Do you live in the city? Yes

For how long have you lived in the city? Over 45 years

Incumbent: Years on council? 12 years

What are your priorities if elected? Traffic and Parking solutions, Affordable Housing, Slow condo development. Retention and increase rental stock. Increase in rapid transit. New Harry Jerome Centre.

Is the city managing growth appropriately? No the City has experienced growth that exceeds our infrastructure. We need better traffic control, parking, affordable housing, recreation facilities and true rapid transit. We must slow high priced condo growth and bargain hard with developers to pay for new and better infrastructure that benefit the entire community.

Are you open to amalgamating with the District of North Vancouver? Not until it can be proven to benefit the citizens of the City. Explore all opportunities to share services where it makes good economic sense.

Should the city facilitate affordable housing and if so, how? The City should facilitate affordable housing through partnerships with the provincial and federal governments. Bonus of density should be tied to provision of affordable housing.
