Non-incumbents: List municipal committee and/or civic group experience Have volunteered for every civic committee and been declined by the Mussatto slate more than any other applicant.
What are your priorities if elected? Repair transportation grid-lock and transit, re-establish open and honest governance, take concrete steps to improve housing affordability, end renovictions, improve public parking and lower taxes.
Is the city managing growth appropriately? Absolutely not. Developers run City Hall. It's time that residents to take control over our city's growth. It's time we honoured the OCP. It's time to end the purchase of Council votes by campaign donations or support. We need to end the cozy relationship between city staff and developers.
Are you open to amalgamating with the District of North Vancouver? Without evidence of benefit, it's foolish to propose or reject amalgamation. It's the responsibility of elected governments to pursue any action that benefits the taxpayer.
Should the city facilitate affordable housing and if so, how? Yes. Development projects that displace residents driving them from our community are wrong. Redevelopment should insulate those affected. I will enact bylaws to protect residents.
