What is the single biggest challenge facing the school district and how will you achieve a solution?  With seismic upgrades nearing complication, council needs to address another infrastructure issue. As outlined in recent report, North Van schools need a better cyber network. The district and city have a good cyber network and extending their networks into the schools may be a possible solution.

What are your thoughts on the province’s new curriculum? Given current budget constraints, implementing all facets of a curriculum focused on personalized learning will be challenging.

Why do we need a school board when so much is dictated by the province? True, the province determines the curriculum and much else. However, optimizing outcomes often depends upon local officials addressing local issues, e.g., the aforementioned cyber network.
