UPDATE: As of Jan. 27, West Vancouver police say the man reported missing has been found safe.
West Vancouver police are asking for the public’s help in finding a 22-year-old man who hasn’t been seen since Jan. 17.
Mohammad Yazdi-Samadi left his home in West Vancouver on Jan. 16 and was last seen in Chilliwack one day later, according to a release.
Police believe he may be headed east toward Calgary or that he may try to enter the United States.
Yazdi-Samadi is described as standing five-foot-five, weighing 143 pounds.
He has brown eyes and short, buzzed black hair. He was last seen wearing dark boots, jeans, and a dark rain jacket.
“WVPD investigators and Mr. Yazdi-Samadi’s family have concerns for his well-being and are asking anyone with information to contact police immediately,” the release stated.
