The annual Deep Cove Daze community and arts festival took place at Panorama Park in Deep Cove on Aug. 26. Activities for the entire family were offered throughout the afternoon with highlights including live bands, a cardboard boat-building and paddling contest and the pie-eating competition where the winner gets nothing but messy.
