Banner decries climate change amid smoky conditions in Metro Vancouver

A reader sent in this photo of a banner that was placed along the pedestrian overpass between Taylor Way and the 15th Street exit on the Upper Levels Monday afternoon, as wildfire smoke from the U.S. blanketed Metro Vancouver.

Metro Vancouver has issued air quality advisories for eight days in a row now.

Environment Canada has stated the smoky conditions may persist until later this week.
