KAMLOOPS, B.C. — Jean-Philippe Parr has become just the eighth player to claim consecutive Canadian Junior Boys Golf Championship titles.

Parr, of St-Célestin, Que., completed his final round Wednesday at 3-under 69 to finish three shots ahead of the competition.

The 18-year-old who is committed to the University of Tennessee went 19-under 269 for the tournament.

Zhu and Wilson also shot 3-under 69 in the final round, while Knight shot 6-under 66.

The win provides Parr an exemption into both the 2023 U.S. Junior Amateur Championship and the 2023 Canadian Men’s Amateur Championship.

Parr finished fourth at the Canadian Men's Amateur Championship last week after getting a spot with his 2021 junior national title win.
