Harrison's second goal of night in OT to lead Generals to 4-3 win over 67's

OSHAWA, Ont. — Brett Harrison had two goals including the game-winner in overtime as the Oshawa Generals upset the Ottawa 67's 4-3 in Ontario Hockey League action on Friday. Andrew Witton and Ryan Gagnier also scored for the Generals (31-20-6-5).

Vinzenz Rohrer, Matthew Mayich and Anthony Costantini scored for the 67's (50-11-0-1), who trailed 2-0 before replying with three straight goals in less than five minutes.

Ottawa outshot Oshawa 36-33, with Generals goalie Patrick Leaver picking up the win.

BATTALION 5, FRONTENACS 2

KINGSTON, Ont. -- Kyle Jackson had two goals and two assists to lead North Bay over Kingston.

Mitchell Russell, Matvey Petrov and Alex Christopoulos also scored for the Battalion (17-41-4-0).

Nathan Poole and Francesco Arcuri replied for the Frontenacs (19-39-2-2).

North Bay goalie Joe Vrbetic made 24 saves in the win, while Kingston netminder Leevi Merilainen stopped 29 shots.

FIREBIRDS 6, STING 3

SARNIA, Ont. -- Gavin Hayes scored the game-winner in the third period to lead Flint to a victory over Sarnia.

Ty Petrou, Riley Piercey, Zacharie Giroux, Sahil Panwar and Amadeus Lombardi, into an empty net, also scored for the Firebirds (40-21-1-1). 

Max Namestnikov, Brayden Guy and Nolan Dann had the Sting's goals.

Luke Cavallin stopped 34 shots in the win, while Anson Thornton turned aside 26 shots for Sarnia (22-34-5-1).

WOLVES 2, STEELHEADS 1

SUDBURY, Ont. -- Landon McCallum scored the game-winner on a power play in the second period to lift Sudbury to a victory over Mississauga.

Chase Stillman also scored for the Wolves (34-27-1-1).

Zakary Lavoie had the lone goal for the Steelheads (27-29-4-1).

Sudbury's goalie Mitchell Weeks stopped 38 shots to earn the victory, while Mississauga's netminder Roman Basran made 26 saves.

STORM 3, KNIGHTS 2

GUELPH, Ont. -- Cooper Walker had the game-winning goal in the third period and the Storm upset London.

Danny Zhilkin and Ben McFarlane, with a short-handed goal, also scored for Guelph (32-23-3-5).

Luke Evangelista had both goals for London (45-15-1-1).

Guelph outshot London 37-27, with Owen Bennett picking up the win.

RANGERS 5, GREYHOUNDS 4

KITCHENER, Ont. -- Justin Nolet scored a pair of goals while Martin Mitchell recorded the game-winner in the third period in Kitchener's win over the Soo Greyhounds.

Reid Valade, Roman Schmidt and Mitchell Martin also scored for the Rangers (40-16-5-2).

Tye Kartye scored twice for the Greyhounds (29-31-3-1) for 17 goals on the season, while Tanner Dickinson and Cole Mackay had singles.

Kitchener netminder Pavel Cajan stopped 36 shots in the win, while the Soo's Samuel Ivanov stopped 34 shots.

SPIRIT 6, SPITFIRES 5

WINDSOR, Ont. -- Josh Bloom's short-handed goal in the second period held up to be the game-winner in Saginaw's win over the Spitfires.

The game saw 11 different goalscorers.

Camaryn Baber, Matyas Sapovaliv, Evan Klein, Mitchell Smith and Pavel Mintyukov also scored for the Spirit (41-16-3-2).

Windsor's goals came from Kyle McDonald, Ethan Martin, Matthew Maggio, Wyatt Johnston and Daniel D'Amico.

Andrew Oke stopped 25 shots in the win. Matt Tovell made five saves and Kyle Downey turned aside eight shots for Windsor (34-20-8-0).
