Canadian Natural Resources Ltd. (TSX:CNQ). Energy. Down 35 cents, or 0.48 per cent, to $72.51 on 9.2 million shares.

Toronto-Dominion Bank (TSX:TD). Financials. Up 15 cents, or 0.19 per cent, to $80.98 on 7.5 million shares.

Cenovus Energy Inc. (TSX:CVE). Energy. Up seven cents, or 0.3 per cent, to $23.71 on seven million shares.

Enbridge Inc. (TSX:ENB). Energy. Down 45 cents, or 0.91 per cent, to $49.26 on 6.9 million shares.

TC Energy Corp. (TSX:TRP). Energy. Down 47 cents, or 0.85 per cent, to $54.78 on 6.4 million shares.

Cameco Corp. (TSX:CCO). Energy. Down $4.80, or 13.5 per cent, to $30.82 on 5.2 million shares.

Companies in the news: 

Aritzia Inc. (TSX:ATZ). Up $2.97, or 6.51 per cent, to $48.62. Aritzia Inc. says its net income went up 16 per cent in the second quarter of fiscal year 2023, as both retail and e-commerce sales rose year over year. The Vancouver-based clothing retailer says it earned $46.3 million or 40 cents per diluted share in the second quarter, up from $39.8 million or 35 cents per share a year earlier.

Toronto-Dominion Bank — Canada Post launched a partnership with TD Bank to offer loans, intended to provide more financial options for Canadians across the country including in rural, remote and Indigenous communities, according to the Crown corporation. The loans, which range from between $1,000 and $30,000, fill a gap between payday lenders and traditional banks. The loans will carry interest rates set by TD but customers do not need to have a bank account and can be new to credit.
