The North Vancouver Wolf Pack will play an old nemesis, the Richmond Sockeyes, to open the PJHL playoffs starting Thursday at Richmond Arena.
The Sockeyes, second-place finishers in the league’s Tom Shaw Conference, come into the series on a hot streak, having won eight of their last 10 games. On the other side the Wolf Pack have stumbled a bit down the stretch, putting up a 4-6 record in their last 10. The Sockeyes also handed the Wolf Pack an 8-0 drubbing at Harry Jerome Arena in their last meeting, Feb. 3. The other three matchups between the two teams have all been close, each going into overtime, with Richmond winning two and North Van winning one. Here’s the matchup:
