Two-time Stanley Cup champion Sam Reinhart continued his hometown tour with the sterling silver trophy on Tuesday.
Just before 1 p.m., he carried the Cup to Dundarave Pier in West Vancouver aboard a Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue boat.
There, he greeted a crowd of cheering fans.
West Vancouver Mayor Mark Sager said Reinhart has set an example for all the young people in the community.
"Thanks for sharing this with us," he said. "Thanks for being here."
Reinhart thanked RCMSAR and West Vancouver Police for giving him a grand entrance.
"To have this opportunity to come back and do this here again is pretty special to me," he said. "When you look at my career, it's the environment that I've been in that's allowed me to have this success."
Then Reinhart raised the Cup up high and gave it a ceremonial kiss.
"Let's have some fun," he said.
On his two-day tour, Reinhart also stopped at Hollyburn Country Club, West Vancouver Fire Station No. 4, Level 10 Fitness, BC Children’s Hospital and Ronald McDonald House BC.
