Altitude FC, the North Van-based semipro soccer squad that played its debut season last year, is kicking off Year 2 with a free exhibition game for the men’s team this Saturday at Fen Burdett Stadium.
The Altitude men will take on Vancouver FC, a new professional team set to make their debut in the Canadian Premier League later this year. The game kicks off at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 8 at Fen Burdett.
Last year Altitude FC made their debut with men’s and women’s teams in League1 British Columbia. This year Altitude will kick off regular season play on the road April 30 before hosting Unity FC Sunday, May 7 with the women kicking off at 1 p.m. followed by the men at 3:30 p.m. at North Vancouver’s Kinsmen Field.
