NORTH Vancouver Pro Arte student Stephanie Lowe (in red in foreground) will be part of a large ensemble cast when Alberta Ballet's The Nutcracker returns to the Queen Elizabeth Theatre Dec. 28-31 with three evening performances and two matinees. Choreographed by Edmund Stripe, with sets and costumes designed by Emmy Award-winning designer Zack Brown, The Nutcracker is set in turn of the 20th century Imperial Russia with Tchaikovsky's musical score played live by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra.
