Recreation programs for adults (aged 19 to 54) are designed not only to improve physical fitness, but to improve mental and emotional fitness as well.

Among the programs offered in the Fall/ Winter Leisure Guide are:

At The Dance of Balance on Sept. 27, Dr. Anita Tannis will discuss finding balance in body, mind and spirit. The discussion will include different beliefs around balance, but also look at how our hormones, thoughts, food choices, lifestyle, age and sex affect our ability to live life as a dance or as a dirge.

Art of Healthy Living, on Oct. 4, is "a class that walks you through the ABCs of intuition to take your stand and live the life you imagine." Fitness Is Mind and Body is a lecture by Sylvie Allouche, to help you get out of your own way when trying to improve health and fitness.

In Celebrating the Goddess in Every Woman, on Oct. 11, Dr. Alexina Mehta will explain five reasons why women are considered to be the world's greatest untapped resource. By connecting to and activating its innate wisdom, the feminine consciousness can bring about the solutions needed to build a new world.
