The West Vancouver Police Department isnt all about speeding tickets and handcuffs.
West Vans finest are partnering with Park Royal Shopping Centre, WVPDs Student Work & Advisory Team and West Coast Amusements for the annual WVPD Family Carnival this weekend.
The event brings back familiar midway rides, games and concession stands along with a peak at the forces coolest gear including squad cars, motorcycles and the departments mobile command unit.
Students can also learn how to get involved with WVPDs youth volunteer programming.
The event runs Friday from 3 to 10 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
All-day ride vouchers are available for $20, with a portion of the proceeds going support youth programs in West Vancouver.
